Embracing a consumer-centric strategy.
To better respond to consumers’ ever-changing needs, consumer brands try to reduce their product development timeline to maximize sales performance while reducing waste. Miia collaborated with the executive team of NBCUniversal Lifestyle Products on a Trolls rapid innovation project to quickly address unmet consumer needs and future growth opportunities.
This initiative aimed to inspire teams to embrace a more consumer-centric approach to product development and unlock new opportunities for the brand. Miia generated twelve new product stories and twenty-five disruptive concepts for the Trolls franchise in apparel, home, and health and beauty, all based on consumer movements. And all of this within one week! Our final deliverable included an executive presentation and product concepts storyboards, including rapid sketches and potential partners for immediate activation.
